More than cookies
Cookies are small values a website can ask your browser to store and send with later requests. We also use local storage, session storage and sign-in storage such as IndexedDB. These keep information on your device and serve different purposes.
What is stored depends on the features you use, whether you sign in, your browser and service-provider settings. The examples below describe storage used by the site; not every item is set on every visit.
What storage supports
- Sign-in and guest booking access. Application session cookies and Firebase sign-in storage help recognize your session. Guest access cookies help you return to a booking and its payment information.
- Trip planning in progress. Session storage can hold intake drafts and review information so you can move between planning steps. Other session values support invitations and an in-progress booking attempt.
- Preferences and local content. Local storage holds display preferences and, in some workspace features, locally saved conversation content. Treat a shared browser as a shared device.
- Service activity. A session identifier in browser storage links site activity within a visit. Activity records sent to our service can include page actions, times, request references and account identifiers when signed in. We use these records to understand use and troubleshoot problems.
Storage used by providers
Firebase Authentication and Stripe payment features can use their own browser storage or cookies to support sign-in, payment processing and fraud prevention. Storage can be associated with our site or the provider's domain, depending on the feature.
For more about information handled by Firebase/Google, Stripe, Resend and AI providers, read our Privacy Policy. This notice does not change those providers' settings.
Your browser controls
Use your browser's privacy or site-data settings to inspect, block or remove cookies and other stored site data. Cookie controls may be separate from controls for local storage and IndexedDB. To remove local copies, check all stored data for this site, and sign out when finished on a shared device.
Blocking or clearing storage can sign you out, remove an unfinished draft or interrupt guest booking access and payment steps. It does not cancel a booking, erase our service records or reverse a payment. Contact our team if you need help accessing an existing booking rather than starting a new payment.
Some session storage is tied to the current tab; other browser data can remain until it expires or is removed by you, the browser or the service. This page does not promise a single storage lifetime.
